Review

If Lân would describe anything as otherworldly, it would be this. The song uses the same instrument or type of sound for the entire song, but the song isnt a loop, and you can hear lots of change through the song. Theres lots of different layers that are used, with the main instrument being most obvious, but when you start to search closely, you start to notice that theres lots of things happening at any time in the song, and this helps lots to add to the dream-like atmosphere that makes this song so special and unique. The song uses high pitched noises frequently, and also low drone in the background, and this creates great contrast, with the instrument being in the middle of the two effects emphasising the main sound of the song. Also, in different parts of the song, Bull of Heaven use the sounds in different ways, to create a unique experience the whole way, through the songs one hour. Maybe this song is so lovely to her because of the dreamy aspect of the song, and how dreams are very relevant to Lân. To be honest, the song reminds her of some times in real life, that pased by now, but cause a strange sort of nostalgia? Its a dark nostalgia, and it causes the song to be a dark song to Lân, and this is strange because Lân would describe the song as lovely, when it causes her to remember dark times, and this doesnt make sense, but its the way she feels about the song. It would be impossible to describe the way Lân feels about the song perfectly, because its full of meaning and memories for her, so she would use one word to finish: beautiful.
